Gritmaster is a long established Scottish business providing services mainly to the public sector with over a decade of continuous service to the Scottish Government, maintaining a safe working access to many of their principle public buildings and facilities.

The service has been adapted and extended due to increased safety awareness and a requirement to protect and reduce the risk to staff and the public attending premises from ice and snow related incidents by providing an economic reactive solution in advance of the problem using advanced forecasting believed accurate up to 98%.

The service is provided during the night to minimise disruption and risk with a fleet of 4 x 4 Iveco and Mercedes Unimog type vehicles, ideally suited to access both small and large sites.

We operate from our new distribution centre near Kinross with easy access to the M90, the majority of Scotland's Principle Buildings and workplaces can be easily reached including Edinburgh, Livingston, Stirling, Perth, Dundee and Glenrothes.

Our winter service is mobilised automatically on receipt of the Met Office Forecast. Our operations generally commence during the early evening with gritting operations extending through the night, ensuring clients have a safe working environment for the beginning of the next working day.
